What is an otolaryngologist ?
An otolaryngologist is a physician who specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases and disorders of the ear, nose, throat, and head and neck. They are commonly referred to as ENTs.
When should I consult with an ENT doctor?
You should consult with an ENT doctor if you have any problems with your ears, nose, or throat. Some common reasons to see an ENT include hearing loss, sinus infections, a deviated septum, and sleep apnea. However, you should really consult with an ENT if you have any symptoms that are bothering you such as your head and neck or that are interfering with your quality of life .
What should I expect from an ENT appointment?
The ENT doctor will evaluate your symptoms and may order tests to determine the cause of your problem. These may include a physical exam, imaging scans, or laboratory tests. Once the diagnosis is made, the team at Texas ENT & Allergy will discuss treatment options with you. If surgery is necessary, we will explain what to expect before, during, and after the procedure

What Is an Audiologist?
An audiologist is a professional who specializes in diagnosing and treating hearing impairments. Audiologists use a variety of tools and tests to assess a person’s hearing and identify the cause of any problems. They also provide counseling and guidance on how to manage hearing loss. All of the audiologists at Texas ENT & Allergy are Doctors of Audiology (AuDs) – the highest level of training and education for these specialists.
What Pediatric ENT Services do you Provide?
We provide a variety of pediatric ENT services, including but not limited to:
